Happy Easter! (and birthdays)

We had a fun 3 day weekend! On Friday (my birthday) we went to Starved Rock State Park and did some hiking. The girls really enjoyed themselves, and we were all pooped afterward. 

Saturday morning we dyed eggs

 And on Sunday we had lots of Easter fun! The bunny hid lots of candy-filled eggs for the girls inside..

 ...and we took turns hiding the dyed eggs outside with our favorite neighbors!

We had lots of fun hosting the Almquists and Nelsons!

 We also celebrated Annalie's birthday, she got some great gifts including a Thomas puzzle.

Weekends Around Town

Here's what we've been up to lately...

 Bolingbrook Nature Center--this place was really fun! A great outdoor nature playground, deer, and lakes to walk around. 

A visit to Kline Creek Farm to see the baby lambs. Lambs not pictured :)  As you can probably imagine, they were adorable.

Fresh Air

When it's 60 degrees and sunny on January 21, you head to the zoo to run and play!

 And you might even talk your parents into letting you take your coat off 😀

Christmas, Christmas, and more Christmas

We had several Merry Christmases this year! Despite some challenges with with illness and injury, things were still pretty festive
