Early Spring!

We have really been enjoying the great weather lately!

Rides in the beep-beep car, and spotting airplanes

It's hammock season! These three have been playing like champs every afternoon.

Winter...

Ah, winter. Lots of being cooped up inside! Here's some of what we've been up to.

Girls in hats

There's always something going on in Evelyn's room--ice cream shop, dress making, dog parties, etc.

January 31 was Omphalocele Awareness Day. Annalie had just the shirt for the occasion :)

Grandma Jean had a birthday! Evelyn had several projects for the party goers.

 We also went bowling.

Annalie in particular loved the train display at the arboretum.

Making footprints! I'm sure she was supposed to be getting in the car.

Way Up North

After Christmas, we packed up the minivan for a trip to Minnesota! We left on the worst possible day (freezing rain and snow the whole day), but we made it safely to our first stop: Three Bears Lodge and waterpark in Wisconsin. The kids loved the water, and Grandma Jean and Papa joined us, too. The following day (after digging out from under the snow), we headed a couple hours north of St. Paul to the Johnson family lake house.

An adventure on the frozen lake

More pajama cousins! This time matching, thanks to Auntie Tessa.

Belated Christmas morning... Uncle Dan had his hands full with Evelyn and Hadleigh vying for his undivided attention.

Evelyn's first (very slow) snowmobile ride!

(She loved it!)

We had a great time! The weather was nice, the lake was frozen, and there was enough snow to play in. We ate lots of good food, played games, and relaxed... Thanks, as always, to the Johnsons for having us!

Christmas

After a very busy few weeks, here is our Christmas catch-up!

We visited Grandma Jean, Papa, and Uncle Dan on Christmas Eve...

Santa came!!!

Checking out the goodies in the stockings...

Evelyn's top request to Santa: "a microphone that isn't attached to anything." Santa got it right!

Grandma Marilyn, Grandpa Wally, and Auntie Maureen joined us later in the day, and brought lots of goodies!

Matchy-matchy at the extended family Christmas party on the 26th.

All the second cousins: Noah, Brayden, Stella, Evelyn, Annalie, and Morgan

Big girl hug!

It was a very merry Christmas!
