Way Up North

After Christmas, we packed up the minivan for a trip to Minnesota! We left on the worst possible day (freezing rain and snow the whole day), but we made it safely to our first stop: Three Bears Lodge and waterpark in Wisconsin. The kids loved the water, and Grandma Jean and Papa joined us, too. The following day (after digging out from under the snow), we headed a couple hours north of St. Paul to the Johnson family lake house.

We had a great time! The weather was nice, the lake was frozen, and there was enough snow to play in. We ate lots of good food, played games, and relaxed... Thanks, as always, to the Johnsons for having us!

After a very busy few weeks, here is our Christmas catch-up!

Grandma Marilyn, Grandpa Wally, and Auntie Maureen joined us later in the day, and brought lots of goodies!
