We had a very busy birthday week!
On her birthday morning, Annalie opened up a few gifts, and we spent the afternoon at the arboretum.

We had blueberry shortcake.... Annalie wasn't impressed.
On Monday evening Annalie developed a yucky respiratory bug. Luckily, we had her routine well check already scheduled for Tuesday morning. Unluckily, her doctor decided we needed a trip to the hospital :( Ironically, it was the one year anniversary of Annalie's surgery at Hinsdale... We are hoping this does not turn into an annual event!
After a few breathing treatments, Annalie was feeling much better! But as a precaution, we got to have a sleep over at the hospital anyway. We were sent home Wednesday afternoon with our very own nebulizer. Thankfully, we haven't needed it since, but we are glad to have it just in case--especially if it can help us avoid any other hospital stays.
On Saturday we celebrated one more time with the Grandparents, Auntie Maureen, and Hershey. Annalie wore one of her new outfits from Uncle Frank and Auntie Kirsten.
Evelyn was soooo excited that this was a "fancy day" and she could choose any dress from her closet.
That's one way to open a gift.
