Children's Museum

We recently took Evelyn for her first visit to the Chicago Children's Museum. She had a great time, which is good since we bought a membership :)

After a slightly traumatic experience in the water area (someone accidentally got pretty soaked by an unintentional huge splash), favorites included....

Making friends in the grocery store (bonus: a friend who can actually reach the groceries!)...

Followed by a snack and a walk around the park just outside Navy Pier

Working on Hobbies

Evelyn has recently picked up some new hobbies at home.

...and guitar! You can't quite hear it, but she is plucking and strumming. Also, please notice that she also dances to her music :)

Keeping Cool

Our favorite 13-month old knows how to keep cool during this sweltering July. Evelyn always enjoys a trip to the front patio to play with her water table.

Where's Evelyn?

Nothing more satisfying that a cold sippy cup full of water!

We had a lazy 4th of July, but at least Evelyn had a festive outfit (and an ear of corn).

And look who came in town for a visit! Evelyn got to spend some quality time with her Aunt Kirsten and Uncle Frank.
