Evelyn and I apologize to all our faithful readers for the lack of blog posts recently... I'm back at work, and Evelyn is living it up in daycare :) It took her a few days to get adjusted, but she loves to smile at all her teachers, takes great naps (better than the ones at home) and drinks all her bottles.
Maybe one of her friends will even teach her to roll over... Right now she is far more interested in trying to sit up. She definitely can't balance on her own, but when she's reclined in her tub or bouncy seat she does little crunches. Enough talk, time for the pictures!
Four months old! Our big girl is now up to 16lbs, 4oz and 25.5 inches. She's one pound away from doubling her birth weight.

Those elusive toes... however between the time this picture was taken about 2 weeks ago and now, she has figured out how to grab them.
According to the manual, Evelyn can start using her exersaucer now!
Ok, maybe she's still a little too small :) The pack of diapers were to put under her feet so she could reach the floor.
We are also happy to report that Evelyn now sleeps nights in her crib. She has slept through the night ONE glorious time, most other nights she's up once to eat (except the last two nights when she decided it would be better to get up twice).
She also must move around a lot in the crib, because most nights when I get up to feed her she is in a completely different location and orientation from the way I put her down!
We are excited for Evelyn's baptism this weekend; she will get to see ALL of her aunts and uncles, as well as many other family members :)
